Characteristic and typical dwelling, immersed in nature, available to rent for brief periods.

The well-equipped cottage was inhabited until not long ago when the owner departed, leaving the dwelling to his nephew, who also disappeared on an unexpected journey to who knows where.

Friendly, fun-loving neighbours, even if rather suspicious in nature towards foreigners and travellers.

The cottage has a sun-filled garden with calming plants such as snapdragons, sunflowers, red and yellow nasturtiums and incandescent flowers

The round windows offer a magnificent view over the fields surrounding the cottage / the Shire.

The cottage is provided with gnomes and wizards who will, on request, appear at the door to entertain you of an evening with traditional songs and dances.

Breakfast included in the price.
Second breakfast extra.

Extremely full larder.

Due to unpleasant past experiences, and the presence of alcoholic beverages in the larder, the cottage will not be rented to dwarves or orcs, unless accompanied by their own wizard.

Extremely well-stocked larder and opportunity to go on excursions to the Grey Havens to the west or, to the east, by the lovely village of Bree where you will be able to dine at the famous Prancing Pony, as guests of Mr. Butterbur.

We would recommend booking, but there may be no need, considering the memory of landlord.

We also recommend a journey there and back again to the 4 Farthings with a tour of the "Tobold Hornblower" farm for a free tasting of one of the 3 varieties of Pipe-weed: Southern Star, Old Toby and Longbottom Leaf.

Terms: cash on delivery of the key, up to but not exceeding one fourteenth total profit, if any.
