Back for the second year running the festival of porcini mushrooms in Buseto Palizzolo, that on 16-17 and 18 October will host an event, filled with meetings, tastings and guided tours at the Forest Scorace the discovery of a variety of mushrooms appreciated in the kitchen.
There will, in fact, the mycological exhibitions and cooking shows to savor to the locals, but also tourists, staying in the area and are lovers of the products of the Sicilian hinterland, the characteristic flavors of autumn.
The festival is organized, as well as the town of Buseto Palizzolo that some time is part of the national circuit of the fungus, the Pro Loco and the Mycological Group "T. Pocorobba ".
Also there are the patronage of the Tourism Region of Sicily and of the various associations, which operate in promoting tourism in the area, as Trapani Welcome.

October 17, 2015: Information Centre and wine tourism reception (Via Palermo, 28) -at 17:00 inauguration of Mycological Show - By the Mycological group "Tonino Pocorobba" Valderice - 18:00 Conference entitled: "Mushrooms of the most common forest Scorace" Speaker: Antonino Mannina (Scientific Director of the Mycological Group "T. October 18, 2015: - 9:00 am Guided hike to the forest Scorace. Route mycological - naturalistic (point: picnic area at the entrance of Bosco reservation on the site w ww.boscoscorace.it or by telephone at 0923 ° 855184-3395005528). - 13:00 Scorace Casale (in the entrance area to the Bosco) lunch-tasting organized by the pro-site of Buseto Palizzolo.
Participation fee € 8,00- There are gastronomic workshops and cooking shows.
