Within the project The regional cultural-Art, inaugurated on September 24, an exhibition entitled "Miraculous Catch". The initiative, presented as part of the activities of the Multipurpose Cultural Centre of Favignana, has been promoted by Art Forms in collaboration with the town of Favignana.
The theme of the show, how you can guess from the title, is that of the sea and fishing and offers to the public, who will speak at the Palazzo Florio, where the exhibition was held, a series of images, which the maestro Gianni Maran It wanted to represent in a series of paintings.
It is not just an exhibition, but an exhibition, in which the painter energetically tells the soul of the sea, through a language in which colors and shapes come together to create a series of images, that only the sea can be seen.
The visitors, who will be at Favignana until October 7, will have the feeling of watching the paintings, as if seeing through a porthole images, where the reflections of the water show a rainbow of fish, different each time.
According to the artist, the theme of the fish is paramount, but also important are the water, the sea and the concept of travel.
The movement of the fish is reminiscent of man, which throughout history has served to migrate from place to place in order to have better living conditions.
The issue of migration today is, unfortunately, very timely.
You can visit the exhibition "Miraculous Catch" from Monday to Thursday according to these times: 9:30 to 13:00 / 15:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday to Sunday 9:30 to 13:00 / 15:00 to 10:00 p.m..
