We will start on September 9 the first edition of "MARETTIMO JAZZ FESTIVAL" music festival with many Sicilian artists of jazz, but with an eye abroad with the participation of a representative from Russia.
In this summer season, which draws to a close, Marettimo has starred in various events such as the Alba in Roman houses and the Medi Egadi Fest, which were intended to promote the territory and tourism in the most distant of Egadi.
Now and until September 11, there will be three days of music and entertainment with a kind, which is not a niche, but in recent times is encountering more and more fans. The music that matters now is for everyone with a truly exceptional parterre.
The event is the brainchild of Alberto Anguzza and Vito Vaccaro and meets the patronage of the town of Favignana.
This is the program of the event: September 9, 2015: 16:30 "GOLDEN DIXIE PARADE" (band traveling Around the country with music dixieland); 18:30 CONCERT IN THE CAVE; at 21; 30 presentation of the official program and the first concert SOFA QUARTET (Marsala)
10 September 2015: 21:30 double concert ALDO BERTOLINO & MARIO GENNA quartet (Marsala); followed VITO MORELLO PROJECT (Trapani)
September 11, 2015: double concert & awards; 21:30 ALDO QUARTET Oliveri (Palermo); followed ANTON KOTIKOV harp and jazz Project (Moscow)
