San Vito Lo Capo is not only the location of food and wine events, but also the backdrop to SiciliAmbiente, which is an international festival of documentaries, animation and short films related to environmental issues, human rights and sustainability.
Now in its seventh year, the festival is sponsored by the town of San Vito Lo Capo, from Demeter Productions and by the cultural Shipyard 7, but there is also the cooperation of FIAB, Italian Federation abatement barriers, which maintains a special section, dedicated to the issues of sustainable mobility.
Returning to the theme of the environment, today it has become very important, even Pope Francis talks about it in his encyclical "Praised be You", because the care for creation is a duty not only of the Christian as such, but of every man, because it represents our common home.
The exhibition includes 14 to 19 July projection of 9 documentaries, 10 shorts and 10 animations, which have been selected among the many in the competition and will be judged by a panel divided into sections based on the works that are in competition.
