A Valderice Carnival is almost all year. It is no joke, so it´s all true, because who has not had the opportunity to celebrate the Carnival in February, it will do from May 30 to June 2, with a parade of floats, definitely a bit ´out of season, but definitely a welcome event for the many tourists, who already fill our province, in the beginning of this summer.
The event is entitled "Continuing the carnival Valderice" and is in fact an ideal continuation of the pastimes of February with main event of the festival parade of floats that will wind along the main streets of Valderice. The chariots made of styrofoam and papier-mâché are the work of local artisans, who during the months preceding the carnival patiently make their experience, but also their free time. As always the current issues, but also those of fantasy are the main source of inspiration for artists who are represented with the usual biting satire characters who are protagonists.
