Another major event of the 2015 season will be held in San Vito Lo Capo Saturday 23 and Sunday, May 24, 2015 with the fourth edition of the marathon "ZERO BARRIERS", a non-competitive race open to everyone really. The initiative is sponsored by the town of San Vito Lo Capo in collaboration with INAIL Trapani Sicily and CIP.
It will start from the free beach "zero barrier", which in 2005 was an area equipped with walkways and chairs job for wheelchair users, because there was a need and also a moral obligation to allow people with disabilities to enjoy a serene beach holiday. After all it was not doing extraordinary things, but to implement a simple right that people with disabilities can go to the beach and swim, because they are and should be the tourists.
