The story of Renzo and Lucia, Don Abbondio and father Christopher, Don Rodrigo and the Unnamed, has enthralled generations.
Work in which blends admirably poetry, human commitment and irony. If there is´ a story in which attention focuses resolutely on the human world, that´s The Betrothed. Even the grounds landscaped like they always return to the point of interest individually or collectively. The great scenarios, beginning with that of the famous´ "Farewell to the Mountains", are inserted directly into the human story, and their vericidità is right at to remove themselves of the feelings, hopes, anxieties of actors. So that farewell well expresses the sense of quiet amazement, anxiety anxious about the future, and even tied in providence, which is the soul of Lucia.
Nothing and no one can prevent the events, as demonstrated by the illusory hopes of Father Christopher who are separated for the first time by Promessi and helps to put in the hands of Gertrude its protected. It ´a color of hope and resignation, enterprise and waiting thoughtful making the stamp of the Betrothed, and is beautifully responsive atmosphere that permeates the episodes, with the widespread sense of autumn temperate which is the note subtly, struggentemente expressive.
You will witness a funny version and at times hilarious, our colorful dialect and the songs will make the job very enjoyable. The Betrothed with our culture and tradition and to lively hilarity that distinguishes the Sicilian people.
