Trapani, nicknamed the city of the sea and sailing, after the glorious experience of the Act 8 and 9 of Louis Vuitton Cup in 2005, will stage the most important events of Tron Audi Sailing Series 2015.
In fact in the city, which has always seen in the sea as a source of life and wealth not only fishing, but also in tourism, will be awarded a world title (Melges 32 August 26 to 30), a European title (Audi melges 20 September 3 to 6) and an Italian title (Melges 24 September 10 to 13).
After hitting places like Loano, Milan, Porto Venere, Riva del Garda and Porto Ercole, the event sponsored by the automaker Audi arrives in Trapani, with its race course appreciated for its winds thesis.
The series, indicated by experts, but also by interested as sailing circuit reference, expand their scope compared to the edition 2014, also opening to specialists and to PRO Driver class Melges 24 which, from this ´year will join the fleet confirmed Audi Melges 20 and Melges 32 formed from the first stage by three different teams of monotypes to represent, nations, regions, sites and sponsors.
