The exhibition traces the most significant pages of a century of history, from the establishment of the Museum to the present day, through letters, deeds, photos, posters, newspaper articles, stored in the Historical Museum of the same Administration.
The documents were cataloged and rearranged by Angela Morabito and Leonarda Maria Paladino, expert cataloguers of the Superintendence of Cultural and Environmental Heritage of Trapani, and selected by them with Lina Novara, art historian and president of the Friends of the Museum Pepoli and Daniela Scandariato, art historian of the Museum, which together form the scientific committee and organization.

The exhibition, accompanied by explanatory panels, shows the highlights of a century of life of the "Museo Pepoli" as it unfolds, from the private collection of Count Agostino Pepoli in the Civic Museum, which later became the Royal, National and Regional currently.
The rare vintage photos, juxtaposed to documents mostly unpublished, and for the first time presented to the public, also allow you to follow the transformation of the museum and the most important changes into and in the fitting, allowing also to know little-known events and the visits of famous people.
Along with signed letters of the founder Agostino Pepoli, including that of 1906 which asks the city of Trapani the former convent of the Annunciation, are shown the Statute and the Royal Decree of October 1, 1909, with which the Institute is erected a non-profit organization with the title of "Pepoli Museum", the publications of the speeches of the first director Anthony Sorrentino, pronounced during the opening ceremonies of 1914 and 1925, and the "notes" with heartfelt appeals of his successor Carlo Messina during the war .
