It will be a Christmas special that tourists and visitors will be able to live at Alcamo. The ingredients for a magical, in fact, are there: the green of the park, the proximity of the charming city castle, the lights, the Christmas carols.
Nine days of appointments for "Christmas in the Park", one of the largest demonstrations ever made in Alcamo in the occasion of Christmas, which is aimed at everyone, young and children. The latter can have fun with their dedicated animations, with laboratories specially designed to sensitize them curious and, with sweets that will be distributed throughout the duration of the event, and in particular in the day of the Epiphany. All this, at a beautiful location: the sub-urban park "San Francesco", which for the occasion will be made by the wonderful cheerful and colorful illuminations and by characteristic carols.
To begin with there will be a three-day (12, 13 and 14 December) with various events of interest that we´re going to investigate further; follow then five days (19, 20, 21, 22 and December 23) that will represent the "highlight" of the event Christmas; and finally, the grand finale of January 6, 2015 with the witch who will drop from the top of the beautiful castle square Bagolino bringing sweets and soft coal to children.
A rich program, where we find the laboratories of the art of recycling; the Great Nativity made with mannequins disused clothes and recycled materials; the presence of so many real animals, from the farms of the city; Christmas markets with stand for sale and tastings of wine and food and craft of our territory; the Santa Claus Village for children; funny archeology workshops and fossils always dedicated to children; exhibitions of architecture and sustainable mobility by notes and associations FareAmbiente bioarchiettura.
An important event, then, because the main objective as well as to the quantity and quality of events offered: create a moment involving children and their families to experience the festivities of Christmas so happy and carefree, with moments of reflection on important issues.

January 6, 2015: 10 hours, the opening of the Park, with a visit to the Nativity, where the Three Kings arrive on horseback to honor the Nativity. Continue to visit the Nativity and the Market; 15.30 reopening of the park: the 16 La Befana you will fall from the top to give sweets and coal to small; visit to the Christmas Market and Santa´s Village for children.
