SAN VITO LO CAPO: ASHTRAYS FREE FOR TOURISTS AND BATHERS

Ashtrays free beach for tourists and bathers who flock to San Vito Lo Capo, a beach town about forty miles from Trapani. The initiative is the municipal administration.

The ´Greys´ are distributed by the municipal police, volunteers of ´The guardians of the sea´ and bathhouses. "The ´grays´ may limit the dispersal of a refusal - says the mayor of San Vito Lo Capo, Matthew Rizzo - which has harmful characteristics, and only the cooperation of all will solve the problem."

Smokers, with a bit of good will, can thus help to maintain the cleanest beach, withdrawing the ´grays´ before going to the beach and emptying them in the appropriate containers placed near the access gates.
