GROUP ARTISTIC CULTURAL ASSOCIATION MAGNIFICAT "IL CANTIERE" of Trapani PRESENTS THE MUSICAL:" Amareoltre appearances ... THE BEAUTY AND THE BEAST"
Taken from the famous fairy tale Beauty and the Beast written by Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont

The story is set in a small town in France, where they are destined to meet the fate of two characters: a haughty prince who lives in a castle in the woods at the edge of the village, which is transformed by a fairy because of its brutality and of his selfishness (because he refused hospitality to an old traveler who then turns out to be a beautiful fairy) in a horrible beast, destined to remain so until it had been shown to be able to love and be loved; and Belle, a girl dreamer and lover of literature, who lives with her father Maurice, an inventor bungler.
Belle dreams of changing your life to escape from the humdrum of everyday life in the village where he lives as well Gaston, a hunter, loved and respected by the rest of the village who is fascinated by the extraordinary beauty of Belle, but his rough manners and his haughty make it unbearable in the eyes of the girl, who rejects him. Belle confesses to the audience that dreams of a better life than that, unable to imagine that soon will be forced to barter his freedom with that of father, imprisoned by the beast after having taken refuge in his castle.
After a confrontational approach had the soul of the beast, furious and intolerant, unable to control his mood, thanks to the complicity of an unusual and exhilarating easement between the two comes a tender friendship, that will be the key to breaking the spell and bring the prince to his human form.
It ´s the story of human feelings more´ true, the beauty that is a concept that belongs from the otherwise, which is not related to the physical aspect but residing in the folds and in the movements of the soul, the true temple of beauty.
The musical invites us to return all of them human, in its sense more ´high and full.
The artistic group called "Magnificat" was born in 2008 from the youth group of some communities of the Diocese of Trapani in order to testify to the music, singing and drama the values of life and offer their work for works solidarity.
The Group Magnificat is a beautiful reality in Trapani youth, at a time when the boys are distracted by the media bombardment that propose a model of life reaching out to careerism and the cultivation of false values.
Since 2008, the Magnificat group has staged several musicals and relied on some occasions the collaboration of professional artists (Giada Nobile, Heron Borelli) All the shows staged by the group are organized to raise funds for charitable purposes to institutions or situations of particular need.
In 2014, the group will dedicate its activities to the Mission of the Immaculate Heart UBERABA (BRAZIL) founded by Trapani Franca Ingrassia, who has spent his life in the service of the children of the favelas in Brazil.
After the success in 2012 with the musical "I´ll call you Pinocchio," the group this year on the musical "Love beyond appearances ... BEAUTY AND THE BEAST", a work of two years which involved among young and old about 50 young people, including tailors, designers, graphic artists, actors, singers and dancers. A family show that has already conivolto enthusiasm with the public.
The musical was staged for the first time May 14, 2014 at the Empire Theatre of Marsala, a second staging took place on July 6 in Lampedusa inserted in the events of the first anniversary of the visit of Pope Francis, on that occasion some of our young people were interviewed in the course of transmission of Rai1 "In His image" by the presenter Lorena Bianchetti.
