It was presented on July 18 and will be held until August 30, with three days highlight, August 7 to 9 next year. We´re talking about the festival ArtEricè the art district ", organized by the association Reset SmartArt and with the sponsorship of the City of Erice.
For the record, the presentation took place at the museum´s Peak "A.Cordici" on the occasion of the exhibition "RossoCorallo between Sky and Sea", an exhibition dedicated to the master corallaio Trapani Platimiro Florence, famous throughout the world for its preserve and enhance mastery of the ancient art of coral, qualities that have enabled him to receive numerous awards and accolades, both in Italy and abroad.
Throughout the duration of the event, you will have the opportunity to see first hand the teacher Fiorenza work, and to understand as it was done and the manufacturing of coral jewelery and artifacts: specifically, by appointment, Monday through Saturday, from 9.30 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 20.00 at the workshop of the artist craftsman via Osorio n. 36, in the historic center of Trapani.

These other events: Thursday, August 7, at 11:30 am, in Erice, near the picturesque Balio Gardens, will be officially inaugurated the festival. Later, the band "Pietro Mascagni" in Trapani will perform in the streets of the medieval village. Friday 8th of August, you can take a dip in the antiquity, thanks to the medieval procession in the afternoon parade through the streets. At 17, moving close to the seafront Dante Alighieri, you can watch the "Southern Roots Festival Beach."
Returning to the Peak, the 18 will open the exhibition "Label Art", and to follow you can taste the local products in the company of good jazz music. In the evening, at the theater Gebel Hamed, you can attend a musical show innovative and original, created by a young band of Bagheria; you will then present a theatrical monologue "Face to You" by director, actor and writer Danilo Fodale. At 22, however, always on the waterfront, there will be a performance by the bubbly and talented singer Jaka.
Saturday, August 9th will begin with a presentation of books at the former boarding Sales. In the early afternoon, in Piazza Municipio, the flash mob "Stop the Violence - NO to violence and indifference," sponsored by the Women´s Committee. The day will continue with the same theme, with the conference "From celebrations of sacred prostitution humiliation the home: involution of the genre." At 17, meanwhile, on the waterfront Dante Alighieri, will end the "Southern Roots Beach Festival", with the awards ceremony and the exhibition of international artists.
In the evening, in Erice, you can watch the play by Eve Ensler, "The Vagina Monologues", and last but not least, the presentation of the "Great Genovese" of the famous and experienced pastry chef Mary Grammarian. On this occasion, as never before, the tasting will be a must, accompanied by the music of Elymian ensemble and the powerful voice of the soprano Simona Guiana.
