The charming island of Favignana will be the backdrop for "The Other Marea - Ports of the tuna fishery Author Florio Favignana," a literary festival summer thick. A cure review, the veteran Giacomo Pilati, journalist and writer and former curator of Trapani, for the past 15 years of "books, authors and bouganvillea" in San Vito lo Capo.
Will be eleven meetings with well-known authors of the Italian literary scene, who will entertain visitors from July 11 until September 5. An event by rich content, specially designed and organized to keep everyone happy. And there will be something for every taste, from the economy to the humanitarian aspect that can have sports, family and emotional evocation by the rediscovery of local traditions.
In detail, it will be the same Pilati, July 11, to inaugurate the festival with his latest work, "In Sicily Rewind" (Telesud-The Sun). Five DVDs for a total of nine hours of footage that bear witness an area rich in talent, passion and culture.
On July 15, it´s up to Federico Rampini, who with "Bankers - the new global banditry" (Knopf), is a reflection on the crisis, banks and finance.
On July 19, the beautiful Wild Lucarelli present his book "Who cares of the world", published by Rizzoli, July 26, Pierluigi Battista while talking about his "# Books are dangerous" (Rizzoli).

On July 29, the space in "Not worth a penny" (Mondadori), a title that says it all. The author is Mario Giordano, director of Tg 4.
Silvia Avallone presentations will open in August with "Marina Beauty" (Rizzoli). The event is scheduled for Friday, August 2.
On August 7, the scene will be all to the intense written by Caterina Chinnici, "It´s so gentle kiss on your forehead" (Knopf), which evokes the figure of the father, the magistrate Rocco Chinnici, killed by the Mafia in 1983.
