From July 4 to 6 in Castellammare del Golfo, will host the first edition of "Street Food - Fish & Caponata Fest", an event focused on the so-called "poor" fish of the Mediterranean and the sicialianissima caponata.
Space tastings of the famous "street food", therefore, became a fashion and being successful TV shows, but not only that there will be competitions among refreshed their dishes based on fish poor: low price, but so tasty and above all rich of omega 3.
A special jury composed of journalists and chefs, along with the jury will vote via the ticket purchase.
There will also be concerts, puppet theater and story-tellers, contests Hip hop and murals, cycling and mountain walks.
The "Street Food - Fish & Caponata Fest" will be a real gastronomic tour intended to involve every age group and to propose a series of events in the busiest squares in the town of Castellammare del Golfo.
The event will be numerous booths installed in Piazza Petrolo (open to the public every day at 19), where you can sample and purchase farm produce and local crafts of the area, as well as enjoy the shows organized. Among them, there will also be organized bicycle tours and hiking in the mountains.
In addition to the event there will be plenty of food and wine events: July 4th concert Maluversu (22 hours - at Cala Marina) on 5 July are planned: the spectacle of the Opera dei Pupi (19 hours - Scopello), The Bilingual show (20 hours - at the Arena of the Roses) and cuntastorie Salvo Piparo (22 hours - at Cala Marina).
The last day, Sunday, July 6, will host the regional competition "Urban Arts" of Hip Hop and impromptu murals along the characteristic steps of the old town (16 hours - Descent Marina).
