One Chapiteau / circus miniature 2 meters wide by 1 deep by 2.5 high, sewn around a bicycle. Inside, another world: a forest, many animal food to satiety, a selection of the most beautiful sights, a plane, a train, a sailboat, Giuanin and much more.
The shows are the result of a mix of techniques, from theater to theater box shadows, through puppets and marionettes, and arise from a manual search of work around the recycling and reuse of materials such as wood, cloth, paper, magazines / newspapers , plastic bottles, foam, cardboard, glass and various wires.
Through pairs of holes decorated with antique glasses, which honeycomb the boxes at different heights, viewers observe a true miniature theater equipped with artificial lighting ensured it from solar panels and tilted stage combined with a system of such scenes to climb to achieve a breakthrough immersive perspective.
ŽLight Circus On TourŽ will travel the streets of Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica for 1600km only on a two-wheeled self-built. Almost three months, in fact, from mid-June to mid-September, and 1,600 km of road, during which Giuanin On The Vine and Chestnut Taccagno will be told to children, adults and the elderly.
From Turin to Sicily and back up, up to Corsica, through Campania and Sardinia, at the beach, in the streets, cultural centers and between the districts of a myriad of towns and cities, including Alexandria, Genoa, Palermo, Trapani, Favignana, Marsala, Agrigento, Gela, Syracuse, Catania, Messina, Salerno, Naples, Cagliari, Oristano, Alghero, Sassari, Bonifacio, Porto Vecchio, Bastia and Calvi.
The shows, in hat, is seeking the public on the bike, naturally self-built and unique in its kind. It will not even burned a liter of petrol and where possible we will proceed enjoying the hospitality of old and new friends, associations and institutions that marry the project, based on respect for the environment and the discovery of the boot and its inhabitants.
