We´re not talking about a comely woman as a kind of boat named Roman trireme that crossed the waters of the Mediterranean between the third and first century. B.C. carrying goods and people between the waters of the Egadi.
To be precise, it is a reproduction 1 meter long and 85 cm wide and 30 cm which will occupy the room of the museum Erice in an exhibition called "The Roman trireme between the crystal clear waters of the Egadi islands" and promises to captivate residents and tourists with a dip in the distant past, at the time of the Punic Wars.
The organization of the exhibition falls on the shoulders of Dr. Antonio Fragapane, that of Roman trireme is an expert having written a thesis whose subject was these very ancient and efficient ancient boats.
