It is almost time for the return of the great international sailing events in Trapani, this time with German Frers design studio, which launched the first edition of an event dedicated to the lucky owners of the boats designed over the years by the German and his son Mani.
So, not only due to the addictive fun sport of sailing, but also technology, beauty and design at the center of the event which will be held in Trapani 25 to 28 June next.
Together, they have designed and continue to design boats for some famous sites, including Nautorīs Swan, Hallberg Rassy, Wally. The same Moor of Venice - winner of the Louis Vuitton Cup among the surprises of the Americaīs Cup in San Diego in 1992 - was of German Frers.
The appointment with the first Frers Cup, as already mentioned, is in Trapani June 25 to 28 is provided for the mooring of boats in the harbor city, and races that have scenery for the marine reserve of the Egadi Islands.
The race is an "invitational", then something is not competitive, for the pure enjoyment of the owners, their guests and crew.
