Lovers of good food and cuisine that is still await the start of the Cous Cous Fest to be held in San Vito Lo Capo 23 to 28 September next , the enthusiastic welcome new this year : the " Cous Cous Fest Preview" , which will be held from 6 to 8 June and is an important early event now in its seventeenth edition . A race between Italian chefs , discovering tidbits recipes couscous; food laboratories ; cooking classes and free evening concerts on the beach : these are the ingredients that will animate the three-day culinary .
The last edition - which saw , among others, special guests such as Francesco De Gregori and Max Gazzè - it was closed with an increase of 25 per cent of visitors compared to the previous year : this year, despite the crisis, San Vito fail to surprise again ? The price of the ticket for the tasting couscous is 10.00 euro and includes: 2 samples of cous cous, a Sicilian dessert and a glass of wine. The ticket can be purchased at the ticket office near the stands of cous cous. The races of couscous and workshops are open to the public, and free up availability. There are no reservations.
