The beautiful town of San Vito Lo Capo returns to be the theater of sport climbing , kayaking tours, meeting , mountain biking, trail running and more with the sixth edition of the " San Vito Climbing Festival " , which will take place May 15 to 18 next to the formula of the Outdoor Games .

An event of international sports tourism that attracts hundreds of athletes and fans from all over Europe , home also to a major film festival of mountain films and adventure . The athletes of various disciplines will compete in one of the most beautiful places of Sicily, San Vito Lo Capo, with its steep , the rocks , the sea and the trails .
The rock climbing, as suggested by the name of the festival , is the heart of the event. Also in this edition will be hosted by world-renowned climbers who tell the public about their experiences and professional life , as well as performing in the beautiful evolution of rock.
During the four days of the event, several events will be dedicated to climbing , both for adults and for children : climbing with the schools with instructors Uisp ; "Baby Speed Climb," speed contest for children on the Tower Uisp ; " DWS Contest" , the appointment of climbing on the cliffs ; " Climbing Meeting" , a gathering of no competitive climbing to the discovery of new crags ; " Climbing Marathon" , the appointment of competitive rock - a race to score with the official judges .

There is also space for mountain bike enthusiasts , thanks to the demanding rally " All Mountain ", which will be held at Monte Monaco , 18 kilometers and 550 meters in altitude ; at the rally "Explorer" , open to all lovers of mountain biking , a scenic route to two different difficulties to admire the Gulf of Mount Hood .
The sixth edition of the " San Vito Climbing Festival ", thanks to the fabulous beaches and coastlines that the place offers , includes a section devoted to sea kayaking. You can join the excursions that will touch the beautiful coastlines of Oriented Reserve of Mount Hood in the Zingaro , until Castellammare del Golfo.
