Vito Corte: " The shots that Francis Bellina are selected narratives and representations . It can be said that through the exhibition Bellina implement a dramatization on stage. He decides to use variables of speech, gestures, of colors and perspective. But there is also a particular acting through his characters come true: just as in the tradition of recitations theatrical performances are sometimes playful because maybe narrate aspects of appearance , sometimes emphasize the fiction of masks or repetition ( re- cite = cite two times) of a gesture or expression . The rooms are of scenic representation salt beard like those that were once smoky circles of card players , boat migrants , asphalt metropolitan carved from the tracks , local markets. The masks are those of the dandy or the bleary , the dreamer and resigned . The disenchanted , the smug and of the proud . There is a compositional cuts and in the shots , but is not the impression that the author´s research : the 4/3 format already declared an interest relating to the proportional rules of the framework . But what emerges instead is a strong and clear conscience that governs the man - photographer under the rules of civil man - who knows , before you even see how much there is real humanity in some women and some men . Therefore, the objective of Francis Bellina which rests on the margins of society and humanity does not perform an action only aesthetic but , first , performs ethics. And ´ then, probably , it turns out the screening of a way of showing that , rather than wink at sicilianismi formal ( looks ) instead , with sensitivity and depth, pays tribute to the Muse of Comedy , Talia , to reveal his will to dramatization . Bellina therefore teatralizzando photographer . In the most expensive to that Musa, as well as our neo-classical and romantic Vincenzo Monti wrote: " Talia , the error flagella and laughs ." "
