"Fly for Peace" , the name of the event that will take place in our area July 18 to 20 , which will seeits peak with the performance of the Frecce Tricolori and aerobatic teams from 6 country.

The first edition of this exciting event will be hosted by the city of Trapani and Erice, and draws together , for the first time, the town of Assisi , the Diocese of Trapani and Mazara del Vallo , the Conference of the Franciscan Family , the Seraphic Province of ´ Umbria of Friars Minor Capuchin , the tourist district of western Sicily , the University of Palermo and the Pole Territorial College of the Province of Trapani , Communion Mariana non-profit organization , Airgest and the Aero Club of Palermo.
"Fly for Peace" comes from a nonprofit Organizing Committee which has the sole aim of spreading the concept in the world of justice and peace and to promote human rights. This is the leitmotif of all entities convolti and organized events . The event will be " opened " in a particular and charming , with a humanitarian flight from Rome and Beirut.
It will officially start July 18 with the "Dialogues of Peace" , which will be held at the center "Ettore Majorana " Erice to the presence of Italian and international speakers for two days will cover the important theme of peace.
Sunday, July 20 , in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele , in Trapani , will set up the "Village of Peace" and will be celebrated Holy Mass , presided over by the Bishop of Trapani , Pietro Maria Fragnelli together with the bishop of Mazara del Vallo , Domenico Mogavero and the friars of Franciscan Family , represented by Fr Antonio Tofanelli . Appointment in the wide area of the old town at 11 am, where there will also be space for exhibitions, workshops and exhibitions .
In Trapani , the event will conclude with the air show on the waterfront Dante Alighieri, which will see the participation of the " tricolor arrows " and air patrols countries´ national of France, Spain, Turkey, Jordan , Croatia and the United Arab Emirates.
