Erice Christmas comes early. Beginning Sunday, December 8th , in fact, the event will begin ericina entirely dedicated to the cribs , called "Erice - Christmas nativity scenes in the streets of the village ," which will carry an exclusive eighteen cribs, thanks to the imagination and commitment of the inhabitants of Erice in collaboration with the merchants of the place. The cribs raffigureranno more biblical scenes , in very different styles between them, with the creative use of very varied . Among the many nativity scenes , even the mechanical Jaemy Callari set up in the Church of St. Teresa at Via Vito Carvini . There will also a representation in eighteenth-century style , with more than 130 characters , handmade in wax and clay.
The event will end on January 6, 2014 , without first having given the maximum fun and entertainment with its shows , musical events, but also workshops for children ! Inevitable then , the customary New Year´s Eve in the square with toast and DJ sets , and let´s not forget the Christmas markets , with unique features wooden houses , in which you can find a wide variety of craft products and food and wine .
The markets will be located in the historical center and can be visited every morning and afternoon forwarded to the days from Monday to Thursday , weekends instead will remain open until the evening.
