First of all, deserves to be named the Custonaci that is among the most prestigious Nativity of the province and the region of Sicily is in fact considered the biggest event of enhancement of Sicilian folk traditions , writing in 2006 in the Register of Intangible Heritage of Sicilian Region. The event will be organized by the cultural association ´ Living Museum ´ Custonaci and this year will reach , on holidays in December, at its thirty-first edition . Scurati will take place in the village and has assets of more than 400 thousand visitors since its debut . Minor but no doubt of great artistic impact is the nativity scene Balata di Baida , with a history of about fifteen years, during which he passionate visitors of all ages. It offers a very suggestive portraiture of the period, representing the Nativity in detail , with lots of fruits , horses , carpenters and so much more.
From December 26 to January 6, then you can also visit the crib of Calatafimi Segesta represented within the village ´ Li Ficareddi ´, has within it different microevents gastronomic , artistic or historical , and employs more than 200 people , also offers integration opportunity for the community. Now in its ninth edition is the crib instead of Gravano , Marsala , which is a Nativity in nineteenth-century style in which, however, no shortage of traditional Christian scene but pays particular attention to the crafts of the nineteenth century in Sicily , offering among other things, various tastings local products .
