This year, the association Cultural Museum of Custonaci will organize the the usual and suggestive Living Nativity in Custonaci, inside the cave Mangiapane.
The event, now in its 32nd edition proposes the nativity of Jesus in a modern reworking it and take the opportunity to enter the typical elements of the ancient culture of Sicily during the event .
The visitor then parade in front of non-professional actors and volunteers in a representation of everyday life in Sicily at the beginning of the last century , heading slowly towards the center of the representation : the nativity scene .
Inside the cave , in the most remote in fact the visitor is in front of the Madonna and St. Joseph and the baby. In a suggestive and probably unique place.
The nativity scene can be visited daily 25-26-27-28-29 December and 4-5-6 January. The entrance is from 16.00 to 22.00 The cost of the ticket is € 5.00
