This year San Vito Lo Capo is preparing to welcome in its stupendous territory the international festival devoted to kites : we are talking about the Kite Festival , to be held November 3 from one to three days of exciting and unique shows .
The Festival of Kites is par excellence the event that combines poetry and art thanks to amazing kites that represent real works of art capable of coloring the sky in celebration , managed and expertly animated by kite experts. This year also aims to seasonally adjust the area of San Vito Lo Capo , giving life to the beautiful resort in a season in which it is usually not very busy .
It ´ also provided an educational program through which the pupils of the elementary and middle schools will try to create custom kites .
The event , however , this year is not limited to embrace and enhance the themes of freedom , fantasy and art as sharing peaceful and participatory .
This year, in fact, since it will be celebrated on the occasion of the feast of All Saints and the ´ Feast of the Dead ´ , also embrace spiritual and religious themes inspired by a famous tradition that comes directly from Guatemala beliefs are well anchored to the religion of those places argue that in fact leaving soar kites near a cemetery , they can share with the souls of loved ones messages of peace and harmony.
