The next weekend , June 4 to 6 in San Vito Lo Capo will take place on Cous Cous Fest Preview , three days to try an advance of Cous Cous Fest , and select the chef who will be part of the Italian team that will compete in the next edition of ´ event , scheduled for September 21 to 26 next . At the gastronomic competition , entitled "Vote chef for the Cous Cous Fest" , will participate in six Italian chefs , selected from among the applications received, who will discuss submitting a recipe for couscous with fish . To evaluate the dishes a jury , consisting of commentators in the industry including Edward Raspelli , conductor Melaverde , Laura Ravaioli the Gambero Rosso and Donatella Bianchi , presenter of Blue Line, and a jury . To participate as jurors and vote for their favorite dish of couscous , just show up in the square sanctuary before each heat race on Friday the 20th, Saturday the 19th and 21st and Sunday at 19.30 . From 12 to 24 , in Venza , every day the chance to taste traditional dishes of Trapani , from couscous to pasta, paired with Sicilian wines , buying a ticket for 10 Euros at the ticket office in Via Savoia , and from 17.30 to 24 the opportunity to shop at the exhibition village , in Savoy. The program also includes workshops and tasting food , prepared by a chef of San Vito , and the market and the fish auction , with the participation of Donatella Bianchi. Every night , starting at 22:30 in the Sanctuary Square , will perform the six artists who have passed the first selection of the " Cous Cous Factor , New artistic proposals " , organized by the Municipality of San Vito Lo Capo and feedback . Those selected are the Skarafunìa , nine items from Sciacca , offering music, ska , reggae and rock steady , the Kaloma , from Messina, ethnic music in the name of the contamination of the sounds , the group of Palermo Duin , which called for a trip that part of the Sicilian tradition to the Irish music , jazz and blues , the group of Chiaramonte , from Racalmuto (Agrigento ) that combine the love for Sicily with social commitment , the ´ Nkantu of Aziz , group, Palermo characterized by a strong social commitment , true to the natural sounds and instruments, and the stooge , from Solarino (Syracuse), which combine a passion for the rhythms and Mediterranean sounds with influences from blues , funk, jazz and rock.
