It ´just around the corner the big event of Segesta called´ Le Notti di Segesta ´which will run for several nights from August 10 to September 1 and will consist of a series of musical events of various kinds that guests will see musicians of considerable importance.
The shows will be held at the beautiful scenery of the Archaeological Park of Segesta, in Calatafimi Segesta. Tickets are still bookable online and at retail outlets.
But let´s see in more detail the programming of individual performances: Saturday, August 10 ´opens the dances´ the first show called ´The night of art, a night of night´ with the participation of Philippe Daverio, and is divided into two parts: the first will begin at 20 (consist of a brief introduction ), and the second will take place at 21.30. The input for this single show is free.
Sunday, August 11th at dawn (5.30) however, the program provides ´Fires of Bach´, a show for fire and cello. For this show, the entrance will be free.
Saturday, August 17 at 21.30 is expected ´A Night at the Opera, a night of music´, which will be recreated the magical atmosphere of ´The Barber of Seville´ by Rossini. The entrance will be a fee (fee also includes the costs of the shuttle)
Sunday, August 18, again at dawn, the show program will be ´Semu suli, semu Tuttu´, a percussion concert.
Friday 23 at 21.30 will take place ´Night of notes and songs, made in sicily´, with a special appearance by Moby, Francesco Cafiso, Buzzurru Francesco, Giuseppe Milci.
Saturday 24th is scheduled ´The Trojan Women´, theatrical work.
Sunday 25 we expect an appointment with Vincenzo Pirrotta that will tell us about ´The Dead´ by Ettore (dawn)
Saturday 31 will be the ´Night of the Leopard´ by Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, theater show organized in collaboration with Rotary Club
Finally, the last round will be held on September 1 at dawn, ´Dawn of the sirens´ and will consist of a series of stories that will be Ligea Tomasi di Lampedusa to Homer´s Odyssey.
