Great success in Favignana for the first night of the "Festival Florio", the Festival of chamber music produced under the auspices of the City and in collaboration with the Conservatory of Palermo now in its second edition. The event opened with a show exclusively to the presence of the actress Amanda Sandrelli, accompanied by pianist Elena Matteucci who performed in "Poeme d´amour", an all-female Reading dedicated to love stories lived by Robert Schumann and Frederic Chopin.
After yesterday´s other four are the shows that are taking place with ready to piano concerts range from jazz to classical music and opera, and that will be held at the church of Santa Maria Immacolata, at 21.30, according to this program:
June 29: Alessandro Bonanno at the piano with "A Century of Jazz", path sound from "Ragtime" to the jazz of today.
July 2: Students of the Music Conservatory Vincenzo Bellini (Palermo) with "Viva Verdi" show conceived as a tribute to the great opera composer to 200 years from birth.
July 4th: Clare Rizza, young and distinguished pianist in Sicily, "Virtuoso", with music by Hayden, Brahms and Debussy.
The "FestivalFlorio" 2013 will end on July 6 with the participation of Fortepiano Trio, chamber ensemble composed of Leonora Armellini (piano), Thomas Benciolini (flute) and Ludovico Armellini (cello) who will be performing with "The Carnival of the Animals" by Saint-Saens and a Trio Friedrich Kuhlau
