Itīs nice to know that from the point of view of tourism, Trapani has a great reputation in Italy and abroad.
Trapani in fact ranks among the top 20 destinations in the Mediterranean favored by tourists. The list was compiled by trivago.it, to date the largest and clicked search engine in the world regarding hotels, resorts and accommodation facilities of all kinds. Based on the evaluations given by users of the Network on accommodation in the seaside resorts of the Mediterranean, trivago has compiled the ranking of destinations with the highest reputation online and choose the winner.
Among hundreds of tourist sites and destinations, Trapani in the top 20 and in Italy it is even the third overall. If we consider what is known for the beautiful country sights and beaches and we stop to think that we are in the leading positions among the Italian places chosen by users who have provided feedback from overseas too, for once we are really pleased with how we are seen to ī abroad.

In the list are then: Chania and Rethymnon in Crete, Lagos in southern Portugal, Syracuse (first and second in Italy in Sicily), Llanes in Spain, Monaco / Monte Carlo and Tavira in Portugal. In addition Capri and Syracuse are four other seaside resorts in the top twenty: Trapani, Alghero, Santa Margherita Ligure and Lignano Sabbiadoro. Among the destinations exclusively Italian excel Capri, Syracuse and Otranto as a city by the sea with the facilities most appreciated by users reckon. In the ranking of the 10 best homegrown destinations for summer 2013 are also Trapani, Alghero, Tropea, Santa Margherita Ligure, Lignano Sabbiadoro, Gallipoli and Rimini. According to this ranking the best hotels are those of Sicily and Apulia with 2 cities per region in the list.
