A Calatafimi will perform a historical re-enactment - on 25 and 26 May 2013: The ouster of Porcelet
For a brief moment Calatafimi back in history, on 25 and 26 May 2013 in fact the ancient and characteristic neighborhood of "Circiara" in the historic center of the city, will be transformed into a medieval village, with people in costume, ladies, knights with their horses, stalls of merchants who will exhibit and sell traditional products and excellent artifacts, there will also be a field of weapons, games area, moments of games for the little ones, a medieval dinner for the nobles, a fabulous display of hawks in flight, medieval dances and a historical re-enactment will remember the time when William Porcelet, governor of the city, was rescued by his subjects.
