FEAST OF OUR LADY OF TAGLIAVIA TO VITA

Every year the town of Life (Tp), celebrates the Madonna of the Rosary with the "feast of Our Lady of Tagliavias." The celebrations start from 7th until 12th of May.
From 7 to 10 May: infiorata bread.

May 9 Maria SS. Of Tagliavias at 18:30: S. Mass and tribute to the Virgin Mary by the stratum of "Cavallari".
May 10 Maria SS. Of Tagliavias:
11:00 - Floral tribute of the students of the Institute "Vito Sicomo" the Madonna "Flowers for the Lady"
18:30 - S. Mass and tribute to the Virgin Mary by the stratum of "Winemakers".
May 11 Maria SS. Of Tagliavias:
17:00 pm - Procession of banners with Band and Drummers
Homage to the Virgin Mary by the Comite des Fetes
18:30 - S. Mass and Tribute to Madonna by the stratum of "Burgisi"
23:00 pm - Solemn Marian vigil
24:00 - S. Solemn Mass
May 12
7:00 - Alborata: firing of firecrackers and ringing of the sacred bronzes
8:30 am - Blessing of the animals
9:30 - S. Mass
9:30 - Concert Band and drummers through the streets of the country
11:00 - S. Solemn Mass
16:00 pm - Procession of Abundance,
Parade through the streets of the country's horses and carts decorated for the traditional tribute to Maria SS. Of Tagliavias offered by the classes "Pecorai", "Cavallari", "Winemakers", "Burgisi", "Massarioti", and from "Deputazione".
Parade of the "Carriage" pulled by oxen with the distribution of "cucciddati": the bread in celebration.
Group players Tamburini, folk group "Sicilia Bedda" Band.
19:00 - S. Mass
21:30 pm - Solemn procession with the image of Maria SS. Accompanied by the Band of Tagliavias
24:00 - Piazza Pirandello: Entertainment piromusicale
