The themes of the double and the simulacrum, so closely related to 'idea and practice of sculpture, are the lines of research of Daniel Franzella (Palermo, 1978), in which the Authority Painting Exhibition dedication, from April 13, a large , curated by Sergio Troisi, with more than twenty works, and a large installation. Terracotta sculptures, anatomical fragments stored in display cases as a votive, cases anthropomorphic half-length or full length: the work of Franzella takes as its center the body and symbolic values associated with the presence, the feeling of loss, fear of death and the cancellation . In setting designed for the rooms of the Convent of the Carmine fgurativi diversity of instruments and materials typical of his work (terracotta, fiberglass, PVC) make up, supporting each other in a system of juxtapositions and counterpoints, a the scene of unrest and ghosts.
