With the aim of turning it into the seat of the Peace in the Mediterranean, the Tower Pepoli will be restored by the Superintendency of Trapani.
The restoration, which will last about a year, give back to the town of Erice this historic/artistic gem that, in the twenty-first century, will be used in a modern way. In fact, the project in which you are inspiring, is to become the Tower Pepoli a control room where they can deal with all matters relating to human rights and international cooperation activities, the encounter between different cultures and religions of the Mediterranean.
An ambitious project that starts from the restoration of the monument, strongly desired by Conte Agostino Pepoli, looking around the north coast of the province of Trapani with breathtaking views of the Custonaci Bay and Reserve of Mount Cofano.
The restoration of the Tower Pepoli, in addition to increasing the value added of the tourism experience on top of Mount Erice, can itself become tourist motor if well exploited for events related to the function of its ambitious Permanent Observatory of Peace.
