All Italy was shocked when, in August 2012, one of the most important nature reserves in Sicily, Zingaro Nature Reserve, went up in smoke as a result of the devastating fire that hit her.
The reserve was then closed because the loss of flora caused a greater chance of failure landslide soil with subsequent risk for tourists.
But nature, you know, prefers life and just a few weeks after the fire, began to sprout the green ripopolava gradually spaces blacks burned by the flames. Today, after a few months, were reopened the paths that had been banned and the Zingaro Nature Reserve is repopulated with plants and flowers.
Meanwhile, the managers of the Reserve have the opportunity to restore signs and safety equipment paths awaiting the tourists who are expected since the spring, when environmental groups promote initiatives, such as bird watching, in the Zingaro reserve.
In the next few days should be the official opening of the reserve by the Regional to the territory.
