This year apart from the culinary event Tempu re Capuna San Vito lo Capo .
The event, now in its 6th edition anticipates the Cous Cous Fest and offers food and wine from Sicily point of view of blue fish.
The name of the show comes from a Sicilian way of saying that means "time of plenty". In fact, the "capone" or "capune" is actually the Lampruga, blue fish for which fishing is carried out from August to December, and in those months, in ancient times when fishing was the maintenance of a good portion of the population, at the time was a time of plenty.
Thus playing with words, the food and wine festival aims to raise awareness, to residents and tourists present San Vito lo Head , the delights of blue fish prepared according to recipes, both traditional and modern.
The main event will also provide the base from which to explore culinary traditions and stories and memories of fishing, economic activity that supported Sicily in past centuries.
The event, scheduled for September 21 to 23 will be an opportunity to listen to good live music in Piazza Santuario with thirst (21), Andrea Cardillo & Audiomagazine (22) and Qbeta (23).
