The Second edition of Jazz Festival is organized by the International School of Music Jazz Palermo, in collaboration with the Centre for Music Studies Etneo CESM and cultural associations and Culture, and Kaleidoscope.
The program includes seminars, ensemble music, jam sessions and concerts by the greatest artists of the jazz world: Kenny Werner, David Kikoski, Kurt Elling, Norma Winstone, Nasheet Waits, Omer Avital, Gregory Hutchinson, Aaron Goldberg, Eddie Gomez, Dario Deidda, Joel Frahm, Avishai Cohen, Lage Lund, Salvatore Bonafede, Mark Guiliana, Ed Howard, Jason Lindner, Johnathan Blake, Matt Penman, Paul rises, Guillermo Klein.

A week devoted entirely to jazz: the instrument and singing workshops will be held in the morning, and playing together in the afternoon, the first jam session at sunset.
Students will have the opportunity to spend a week in close contact with some of the greatest jazz musicians of the world, and to attend their performances.
The evening will be enlivened by concerts of the highest level, followed by a second jam session, which very often is attended by students of the seminaries, including the Masters and musicians attended the event. The full program includes the performance of groups of teachers who held seminars, and many other great artists of world renown.
The event will take place in Castellammare del Golfo di Trapani, beautiful Sicilian town which is located near the Zingaro nature reserve, one of the most beautiful and evocative of the sea on the island.
During the festival week Castellammare soul of the presence of many young musicians and fans from all over Italy to attend clinics and attend the concerts. All activities are structured within the historic center, so you can easily walk to all the places designated. Concerts are held in the beautiful setting of Piazza Castello, a place of great historical and architectural heritage, a step away from the sea. The stages are set up for the jam in the nerve centers of the town.
The event is highly attended by local people and is also an important vehicle of knowledge, for people from all over the world, notably rich natural and historical-cultural Castellammare and its surroundings have to offer.
