This summer, you know, is the season of the long-awaited relaxation. If you have the opportunity to combine the days spent enjoying the beautiful sea, with the chance to meet great authors of the national literary scene, the holidays take on the "march of more."
The picturesque coast of San Vito Lo Capo hosts, until 30 August, and for the twelfth consecutive year, the exhibition "Books, authors and bougainvillea." In the square on the Venza, surrounded by jasmine and bougainvillea in the heart of the historic tourist town known throughout the world, savoring the taste of San Vito in the summer of contemporary literature.
The event, which began in July, attended by many actors of non-fiction, journalism, and Italian fiction, including Marcello Sorgi, Antonio Zichichi and Simonetta Agnello Hornby. The meetings, which begin at 21.30 pm, are led by journalist and writer Giacomo Pilati: a real talk show that he sees facing writers and readers. The exhibition is organized by the City and the Pro Loco di San Vito Lo Capo. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 10, the journalist and television presenter Gianni Mina will present "Latin America", the quarterly geopolitical he directed and which collects the contributions of the greatest intellectuals of the American continent, and through reflections on the "South" examine two decades of Latin American history as seen through the eyes of those who live in a continent characterized by an adversarial relationship with the West yet.
Among the guests arriving at San Vito, the journalist Matthew Collura, the art historian Maria Antonietta Spadaro, the novelist Josephine and Antonio Caprarica Torregrossa, director of the RAI headquarters in London.
