The Association of Train D.O.C. announced a detailed program for the new rail route train STONE to the archaeological sites in Sicily: Palermo and Trapani, the island of Mozia, an important center of Phoenician colonization of western Sicily (twelfth century BC.). The trip is scheduled for Sunday, June 5, 2011.
The event is held under the patronage of the town of Marsala.
The event is organized by the DOC TRAIN in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Sicily Trenitalia, with the Directorate of Territorial Production Palermo RFI (Italian Railway Network) and the Department of Infrastructure and Mobility - Department of Infrastructure, Mobility and Transport of the Sicilian Region.
Event contributes to the success of the third millennium - artistic projects.
A pair of railcar Aln 668 will start the morning by the station to reach Palermo Notarbartolo station Mozia-Birgi. Along the way stops will be made with the following passenger services:
