Ryanair has announced that it will delete '72 of its 264 scheduled flights weekly to and from Trapani airport from Friday'''on May 6 of continued flight restrictions related to military operations to and from Libya that'' ''have temporarily reduced the number of civilian flights at the airport.''
These restrictions, states the company''does not involve the 4 Ryanair aircraft based in Trapani, which operate 192 flights every week, but the flights operated by aircraft based in Trapani, we were forced to operate to and from airport Palermo from 21 March. Since these diversions have caused significant inconvenience to passengers, Ryanair has decided that as of May 6 the flights (to Palermo) will be deleted until they are able to operate normally and the airport of Trapani.''
Ryanair sincerely apologizes''with passengers for these unavoidable cancellations.'' All passengers affected will be contacted via e-mail or SMS, and passengers will be 'offered a full refund or an exchange with an alternative flight. A complete list of canceled flights and 'available at www.ryanair.com.
