In light of the success of the first edition of the event , organized by the city of Alcamo in collaboration with the Wine Road Alcamo Doc and funded by the Department of Agriculture of the Region of Sicily and the Province of Trapani , the exhibition will be proposed again next May.
Mayor James Scala says he is satisfied that the initiative " has seen the producers real stars of three days and a public success that exceeded all expectations." They were about thirty labels protagonists of tastings , nine wineries participating in the tasting tables , a hundred students who have participated in the program of Edu -kids , private entertainment of the smallest ten hotels and restaurants that have an agreement proposed typical menus and about five thousand people crowded the square Ciullo for the concert of the band agrigentina Tinturia .
