The Waines
The Waines, originating in Palermo, won the 'Wave Italy in 2007 and the award for Best Video PIVI 2009: under the direction and interpretation of Corrado Fortuna, this interpreter in the film "Baar", "Feisbum" and protagonist in "My Name Is Tanino.
Energetic. Rock'n'roll. Ep in line with a certain musical output in recent years, since the Strokes, through the Jet, the Killers touching and so on. Groups of about ten years has brought to the foreground the sounds at the turn of the Sixties and Seventies, adapted themselves to our times. They used the same formula with success, to demonstrate the immortality of rock and roll. A timeless formula for easy listening, danceable and enthralling. The Palermo Waines incorporate these sounds, with burred and reverberated guitars, drums and a voice rather regular rock'n'roll, dirty and acute where it is needed. Their songs are all around, dancing and successful. They look like our Jet with a video in less fashionable.
LORRč & SHAKALASKA BAND
The project consists of the veteran Jahmento on guitar and vocals, one of the first Italian reggae singer from the early 80s already active and reference point for the national reggae scene, great musician and star of countless live with the band One Drop and other formations of success. Lorre, the name of the reggae tip of Sicily, with assets of several solo albums, dozens of productions including mixtapes and compilations and more than ten years in concerts all around Italy but also in Germany and Spain (Rototom, Chiemsee Reggae Festival and many others). This band, made up of 7 elements, presents a repertoire ranging from novel roots with modern sounds, repeating what has been the musical history of the singers for the occasion in question, which will present new pieces of fresh produce. With them there will be two talented singer from Greez project, training on the attitude and hip hop reggae. A full band for a show not to be missed. The band at this exact training in 2011 was the star of a winter tour that saw them perform in many local Italians from Turin to Bari, from Pavia, Parma, Perugia and Florence before returning to the yard and fiery as ever the squares of their beloved island, Sicily.
