'S an idea that we blend in my head for years, and now we want to bring to the attention of public bodies and private individuals. Moreover, the possible creation of an area for observation of large whales without harming them in any way the activities of fishermen, who represent an important reference for the social and economic territory. Always the sea front of San Vito Lo Capo, which closes to the great western Gulf of Castellammare, is intensely popular with dolphins (Delphinus delphis and Stenella coeruleoalba) and Risso's dolphins (Grampus griseus), which are found in flocks of hundreds and sometimes thousands of copies of each, from as little as a mile from the coast, and up to tens of miles, the families of cetaceans intersect the route of vessels at sea, and often our friends are placed right next to the bows of the boats for long stretches the accompanying navigators. It 's a pleasure to watch them swim and play in cobalt blue, do high jumps and sometimes leave the water only submerged vertically into the tail and moving it horizontally for tens of meters.
