PUNIC SHIP: THE FINAL OF THE SINGING CONTEST AT T

For the fourth consecutive year, Art News is organizing the "Punic Ship," singing contest that aims to discover and promote young artists.

The final of the event will take place Dec. 18 at the Empire Theatre of Marsala. Production is headed by Nicholas Anastasi, while Gaspare Sammartano by the artistic director.
The organizers, after three years they have worked to make this award a landmark in the music scene, this year intend to launch the event on the national stage.

Among the famous names that make up the jury are some of those Pippo Kaballà, lyricist and author of countless Italian successes, the known record Marcello Balestra, Stefano Prophet, record producer and musician, Alessandra Carnevali, journalist for the music site http://festival . blogosfere.it and Mauro Di Domenico (guitarist Massimo Ranieri).

The organization is also working to bring distinguished guests on the stage of the event. We talk about the likes of Dolcenera, Franco Simone, Mario Venuti, Irene Fornaciari and Luisa Corna.

At the fourth edition of the Marsala Punic Ship begins this year the mini competition for the young category that young players aged 5 to 12 years in fact, the artistic director Gaspar Sammartano (after the success of last June 2010 with the selection of the song known transmission "Io Canto" in front of the grader Isabella Abiuso, assistant to the famous director Roberto Cenci), is looking for new young singers who could land on TV in 2011.

Here are the semifinalists that Saturday, December 11 at the theater in Marsala Don Bosco will contest the opportunity to enter the shortlist - Eight young and sixteen young people - who will arrive at the final of the 18th to the Empire Theatre.
