For this 2024 tourist season there are many new events in Favignana and the desire to innovate and offer tourists and visitors new and original products that can entertain and not tire. One of these is certainly "Egadi Euphoria", a musical festival promoted by the Pro Loco Egadi Islands which will start on 29 July under the artistic direction of Filippo Peralta.
The event includes a calendar of six musical events from 29 July to 6 September which will involve not only Favignana but the entire Egadi archipelago. To inaugurate the event there will be the duo Gino De Vita and Fausto Beccalossi who will involve the spectators with Argentine rhythms, including the notes of the famous tango performed with the chromatic accordion and guitar.
This show of theirs is part of a new project called "Tangamente" which does not want to re-propose only the Argentine rhythms but all the South American sounds in a post-modern reinterpretation to which their own productions will also be added.
Beccalossi and De Vita are considered two of the greatest musicians in this sector nationally and internationally and during their career they have collaborated with some of the most important jazz musicians on the world scene.
On 12 August Rosa di Bocca will pay homage to Rosa Balistreri, on 26 August in Marettimo at 6.30 pm there will be a concert under the stars dedicated to Lucio Dalla while in the evening at 10 pm again in Marettimo the public will be involved in an evocative journey into the dance music from the 70s to the 90s.
In this review, as we said, Levanzo could not be missing, which will host the last appointment with the show "My name is Pino", a tribute to the two extraordinary Pinos of Italian music, Pino Daniele and Pino Mango.
