After the positive experience of ARCOIN, Massimiliano Mazzaraīs MediExpo is ready to dive into a new trade fair adventure, namely the first edition of Trapani Food Fest, a social fair, as they like to define it, which will cover all sectors of food and wine for raise awareness of the culinary traditions of the Trapani area through the rediscovery of typical traditional dishes, involving many exhibitors at a local level.
The event includes many collateral events such as entertainment shows and tasting moments.
The event will take place from 11 to 14 July in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele with the patronage of the municipality of Trapani, and will be made up of three thematic areas: the show cooking area, where some typical dishes linked to tradition will be explained, prepared and presented of the territory with specialists in the sector. There the importance of the food properties of these products linked to the Mediterranean diet will also be explained. Within this area there will also be a competition between chefs aimed exclusively at the rediscovery of the ancient flavors of Trapani.
The second area is that of the village with the classic wooden houses where you can taste the products of the Trapani and Sicilian culinary and pastry traditions and finally the stage area for musical performances.
For four days Piazza Vittorio Emanuele will become a place where flavors and traditions will find their home among many gastronomic specialties and typical products of excellence with evening shows, as a side dish to the event.
