Good food and an excellent glass of wine can be considered cultural assets as they are an expression of the typical nature of a place and the food and wine tradition of a territory.
And this is why an event will be organized in Trapani to promote wine and agri-food exhibitors, offering them a space to interact with tourists and citizens.
The event is called DeGusti Arte - Summer Edition and will take place in the Ex Piazza Mercato del Pesce from 5 to 7 July, with an appendix inside Palazzo Cavarretta where workshops and masterclasses dedicated to the promotion and valorisation of the local products. These sessions will offer a unique in-depth opportunity to learn and discover the secrets of these food and wine treasures.
The event is organized by the Inkilo company of Palermo with the patronage of the municipality of Trapani and represents an extraordinary opportunity to immerse yourself in the traditional flavors and aromas of Sicily, celebrating the meeting between local gastronomy and artistic expression. In fact, visitors will have the opportunity to discover and appreciate the delicacies offered by the exhibitors in a promotion of the territory and an enhancement of local excellence.
In addition to tastings, there will be a rich cultural and artistic program in which visitors will be able to participate in exhibitions, live concerts and performances by local and international artists.
The one in Trapani is not the first edition. The organizers have already presented this format in other locations, achieving great success with the public. Just remember some numbers: 60 exhibiting companies and over 8,000 visitors in the last edition.
The event has grown over time, confirming its role as a point of reference for lovers of good food, art and Sicilian culture and aims to enhance the Sicilian agri-food chain as well as support local, national and foreign productions.
The fair will be open to visitors on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th July from 5pm to 11pm, while on Sunday 8th July from 12pm to 9.30pm.
