San Vito Lo Capo is preparing to experience another fantastic edition of San Vito Jazz, a music festival that brings some of the greatest internationally renowned jazz artists to the stage of the seaside village.
The event is organized by the same tourist operators of San Vito Lo Capo who have each given a small financial contribution to finance the initiative, considered one of the coolest cultural events of the season.
San Vito Lo Capo is therefore not just couscous or kites but also refined musical culture, capable of attracting the attention of the most varied and numerous audiences, also due to the free nature of the concerts.
The event will start from this month of June and will continue throughout the summer until October, with a full program of events and concerts twice a week.
A preview is scheduled for June 19th with a concert by Valerio Rizzoīs band and then from July 3rd "Tutti matti, I want to do jazz", paraphrasing a famous tune that serves as the soundtrack to the Disney animated film "The Aristocats .
The artistic director of the event is Dario Peraino who personally supervised the selection of the artists, many of whom were Sicilian, including Francesco Buzzurro considered one of the greatest classical guitarists in the world. Francesco will perform on July 24th.
Other important musicians such as Gianni Gebbia and Daniela Spalletta will instead enliven a truly unique evening, that of July 3rd.
There will also be no shortage of foreign artists such as the Brazilian Toninho Horta, on July 31st, in a concert that will outline an unforgettable journey through the many nuances of jazz.
