After the success of the first edition, the Trapani Film Festival is preparing to return, this year too at the Casina delle Palme from 20 to 23 June, with a program full of new features and national and international guests.
Trapani Film Festival is a review of independent films and cinematographic works that offers an evocative showcase to the authors and protagonists of the works on display, with moments of discussion and sharing.
The festival will open on June 20th with the awards ceremony of the Trapani Off Film Festival competition, dedicated to students, while the opening evening will be held on June 21st with a show full of music and guests followed by the screening of a film in the competition.
The great final evening will be held on June 23rd starting at 8.00 pm with the award ceremony of the winning films and a closing concert.
The organization has published the guests of this second edition on its website, many of whom are known to the general public. Characters of the caliber of Michele La Ginestra and Domenico Centamore, the latter protagonist of the successful television series Makari in the role of Piccionello, paired with Claudio Gioè, his companion in many television adventures.
Other important guests are Ester Pantano, official godmother of the second edition, Raffaele Vannoni, Emma Dante, Angela Curri, Fabrizio Ferracane, Manuela Ventura and, this year´s guest star, the comedians and cabaret actors Matranga and Minafò. And then Loredana Cannata, Davide Calgaro, Chiara Vinci, Alessio Vassallo, Francesco Russo and many others who will be in Trapani to pay homage to Italian cinema in all its forms and expressions. Films with a guarantee of quality and such freedom of expression that make them true jewels of contemporary cinema.
